The past summer, I attended multiple programs.  One of those programs was for engineering here in the Bay Area.  The program had people from all over California and the rest of the country.

Here at Local Community Heroes, it has been our goal from the very beginning to provide quality content with regards to the achievements of young citizens in San Jose.

My freshman year was probably my hardest year of High School, being young and in High School is a challenge and full of peer pressure.  I started hanging out with people I never really hung out with.

Apollo High School is “Small But Necessary” credit recovery school in East Side Union High School District.  Junior and Senior students come from one of the 12 comprehensive schools in the district.

The year is now 2018 and for almost two years Local Community Hero’s has been searching the community to recognize the students and teachers in San Jose schools.
